In 2023 Public Herald estimated that over 275 million people worldwide continue to suffer from Long Covid. Data from the United States Census Bureau Household Pulse Survey indicates that about 1 in 4 people — approximately 27,831,176 Americans — who have had COVID-19 are subjected to Long Covid.
